Mau Pigi mana? Apa mau tulis?

I long to go for a holiday. Not the usual holiday where I just stay at home and do the house work. NO not that. I want to go places that I've never been before. If I ever can go to this place, i swear I'll take a lot of pictures and I will really enjoy myself.

Well actually me and my sister and bro are planing to go to Langkawi end of this year (What?! a local vacation? ~lol~ Mana ada duit mau pigi jauh2). But I've not book and air ticket yet for we don't know exactly when to go. And at the moment, the financial situation is damn tight. Hehehe ya..ya.. I know, I know the financial thing will never be over if I didn't do anything about it like setting aside a portion of my pay every month right. Hmmm.... I am actually hoping to generate RM from blogging but will always not get the opportunity to do so for as I said before, always not opportunity available...Better start thinking other ways to get RM.

Currently yours truly is setting up a blog for our church. A Blog mind you. Why not website you ask? well "The original plan" is to setup website for the church but after a lot of thinking, "why want to spend money if you can create just a blog?" so feels free to visit stsimondezelot. It is actually still not properly setup yet for a lot of things not been uploaded so feels free to jot down something there and give some ideas ya.

Please Jot something down dear

Almost every morning while driving to work I hear about this advert. in about a guy blogging about the lame things that happeing in his life. About what he do from the time he woke up till the time he closes his eyes every night.

Come to think about it, I think I am in the same group like this guy. The same lame thing done every day. As a result of that, I have nothing interesting to write in my "Dear Diary".

Today, I have this feeling of wanting to change job. I want to start hunting for new job in a new environment. The reason is, well lets just keep that. I haven't actually practice what I've studied in my Uni. I actually took HR as my major and today I am doing account and marketing which both I hate soooo much..

Well think I should start looking for new job. I am getting demotivated so before things goes even worst, better I look for some option.

anybody want to hire me?.

Note to all the people out there who really go for their passion, I envy you guys. argh...why am I not one of you??!!! well I think it is just a matter of doing it or not kan.

World Youth Day 2008...

... We welcome you.

This year, The much awaited World Youth Day will be held in Sydney Australia this coming July. How I wish I can be there to celebrate the wonderful celebration. But alas... as for now, I just entertain myself with this wonderful song "Receive the Power" by Guy Sebastian ans Paulini:-

I just want to share this beautiful clip uploaded in Youtube. A very touchng song and the pictures really touch my heart. (You know who you are *the person who did this clip* Good Job ;p)

Let praise

The Lazy Cat story

This morning, I woke up wishing that it is a public holiday. I can’t say that I woke up savouring the freshness of the golden sunlight, enjoying the sun's rays filtering through my window. I am damn tired. It had been a very busy Sunday for me and DH and I don’t think we had enough rest. Argh and I am having a slight migraine.

The first thought that popped into my mind was: "How I wish I can say Thank God it's Monday!"

I was startled by my own thought and I know the whole world is grumbling and groaning about Monday, unwilling to let go of lovely, lazy Sunday.

Actually, people who have a positive mind and thinking will say “why not? If it is Monday, it means the shops will be open, the government offices will function, the courier service will bring that much-awaited parcel. And life will move on full-speed. Isn't that cause for jubilation?”. Damn I wish I can think like that.

Contemporary man is completely sold to the idea of the weekend and, therefore, horrified by the idea of working seven days a week. People drag themselves through workdays so they can relax in the evenings. They endure the week so they can have the weekend.

They work through the year so that they can go on leave at the end of the year. If we stretch the logic a little further, they put up with life so that they can relax in death.

So being the “lazy Cat” of me today, I decided to look for ways to get rid of the “Monday blues” for I have a lot of outstanding work need to be taken care of and I really need to have the so called “the right mood” to start of with. So this is what I came across….

Instead of justifying the need for a holiday, let us look at the quality of our working life.
Perhaps some Osho insights can help change the way we work.

The basic question is, do you enjoy your work?
Do you work wishing you could do something else?

Is your work a necessary evil -- to earn a living or to fulfil ambition?

1. What and how What you do is not important, it is how you do it.

Whatever you do, do it with deep alertness; then even small things become sacred.

You can clean the floor like a robot; you have to clean it, so you clean it.
But it could have been a great experience; you missed it.

You cleaned the floor and that would have cleansed you. Clean the floor full of awareness; be luminous with awareness.

2. Remember yourself

One thing has to be a continuous thread: remember yourself.
While walking, say, "I am walking." While sitting, say, "I am sitting."
And feel the shift in your awareness. There will be a sudden spark.

3. Are you a perfectionist?

Beware! What counts is being total, not perfect. This brings out the best in you.

The very idea of perfectionism drives people crazy.

The perfectionist is bound to be neurotic. S/he cannot enjoy life till s/he is perfect. And perfection never happens, it is not in the nature of things.

Life is imperfect. Only death is perfect. Totality is possible, perfection is not possible.
There is a huge difference between perfection and totality. Perfection is a goal for the future, totality is an experience now. If you can get into any act with your whole heart, you are total. Totality brings wholeness, health and sanity.

The perfectionist forgets about totality. There is a big gap between how s/he is and how s/he wants to be.

And, of course, change can't happen now, it is always tomorrow or the day after. So life is postponed.

These are small tools, but they will help you see the gap between workdays and holidays decreasing. You will eagerly wait for work to begin.

And then you'll also say: "Thank God it's Monday!"

But as for now, I think I can't wait for the clock to strike 12.45 so that i can take my nap.... Zzzzzzz

True Love is...

Find a guy who calls you beautiful instead of hot...
...who calls you back when you hang up on him...
...who will stay awake just to watch you sleep...

...wait for the guy who kisses your forehead...

...who wants to show you off to the world when you are in your sweats...

...who holds your hand in front of his friends...

...wait for the one who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares about you and how lucky he is to have you...

...wait for the one who turns to his friends and says, "...that's her, or that's him"

READ THIS!!!!!!!

...........and then re read it. Especially the last part... (this is really a very touching story which make me sob early in the morning in my office!!!)

I walked into the grocery store not particularly interested in buying groceries. I wasn't hungry. The pain of losing my husband of 57 years was still too raw. And this grocery store held so many sweet memories.

He often came with me and almost every time he'd pretend to go off and look for something special. I knew what he was up to. I'd always spot him walking down the aisle with the three yellow roses in his hands. He knew I loved yellow roses.

With a heart filled with grief, I only wanted to buy my few items and leave, but even grocery shopping was different since he had passed on. Shopping for one took time, a little more thought than it had for two. Standing by the meat, I searched for the perfect small steak and remembered how he had loved his steak.

Suddenly a woman came beside me. She was blonde, slim and lovely in a soft green pantsuit. I watched as she picked up a large package of T-bones, dropped them in her basket.. hesitated, and then put them back. She turned to go and once again reached for the pack of steaks. She saw me watching her and she smiled. "My husband loves T-bones, but honestly, at these prices, I don't know." I swallowed the emotion down my throat and met her pale blue eyes. "My husband passed away eight days ago," I told her. Glancing at the package in her hands, I fought to control the tremble in my voice. "Buy him the steaks. And cherish every moment you have together." She shook her head and I saw the emotion in her eyes as she placed the package in her basket and wheeled away.

I turned and pushed my cart across the length of the store to the dairy products. There I stood, trying to decide which size milk I should buy. A Quart, I finally decided and moved on to the ice cream. If nothing else, I could always fix myself an ice cream cone. I placed the ice cream in my cart and looked down the aisle toward the front.

I saw first the green suit, then recognized the pretty lady coming towards me. In her arms she carried a package. On her face was the brightest smile! I had ever seen. I would swear a soft halo encircled her blonde hair as she kept walking toward me, her eyes holding mine. As she came closer, I saw what she held and tears began misting in my eyes. "These are for you," she said and placed three beautiful long stemmed yellow roses in my arms. "When you go through the line, they will know these are paid for." She leaned over and placed a gentle kiss on my cheek, then smiled again. I wanted to tell her what she'd done, what the roses meant, but still unable to speak, I watched as she walked away as tears clouded my vision. I looked down at the beautiful roses nestled in the green tissue wrapping and found it almost unreal. How did she know?

Suddenly the answer seemed so clear. I wasn't alone. Oh, you haven't forgotten me, have you? I whispered, with tears in my eyes. He was still with me, and she was his angel. Every day be thankful for what you have and who you are. (Please read all of this, it is really nice)

This was sent to my email yesterday and I was suppose to forward this to all my friends in my email list but breaking the rules, I decided to post it here instead so that I can share it with not only to the selected person, but to all of those who read my blog, or accidently stumble upon my blog.

Even though I clutch my blanket and growl when the alarm rings.
Thank you, Lord, that I can hear. There are many who are deaf.

Even though I keep my eyes closed against the morning light as long as possible.
Thank you, Lord , that I can see. Many are blind .

Even though I huddle in my bed and put off rising.
Thank you, Lord, that I have the strength to rise. There are many who are bedridden.

Even though the first hour of my day is hectic, when socks are lost, to act is burned, tempers are short, and my children are so loud.
Thank you, Lord, for my family. There are many who are lonely.

Even though our breakfast table never looks like the picture in magazines and the menu is at times unbalanced.
Thank you, Lord, for the food we have. There are many who are hungry.

Even though the routine of my job often is monotonous.
Thank you, Lord, for the opportunity to work. There are many who have no job.

Even though I grumble and bemoan my fate from day to day and wish my circumstances were not so modest.
Thank you, Lord, for life.

This story might help a bit to make this world a better place to live, right?

A friend is someone we turn to when our spirits need a lift.
A friend is someone to treasure.
For friendship is a gift.
A friend is someone who fills our lives with Beauty, Joy and Grace and makes the world we live in a better and happier place .

God bless you and yours.

Beautiful Morning Prayer

Dear Lord, I thank you for this day. I thank you for
my being able to see and to hear this morning. I'm
blessed because You are a forgiving God and an
understanding God. You have done so much for me
and You keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for
everything I have done, said or thought that was not
pleasing to You. I ask now for Your forgiveness.

Please keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help
me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty
of gratitude. Let me make the best of each and every
day to clear my mind so that I can hear from You.

Please broden my mind that I can accept all things.

Let me not whine and whimper ovre things I have no
control over. Let me continue to see sin through
God's eyes and acknowledge it as evil. And when I
sin, let me repent, and confess with my mouth for my
wrongdoing, and receive the forgivness of God.

And when this world closes in on me, let me remember
Jesus' example -- to slip away and find a quiet place
to pray. It's the best response when I'm pushed
beyond my limits. I know that when I can't
pray, You listen to my heart. Continue to use me to
do Your will.

Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others.
Keep me strong that I amy help the weak.
Keep me uplifted that I amy have words of encouragement
for others. I pray for those who are lost and can't
find their way. I pray for those who don't know You intimately.
I pray for those who don't believe. But I thank you
that I believe.

I believe that God changes people and God changes things.
I pray for all my sisters and brothers. For each and
every family members in their households.
I pray for peace, love ad joy in their homes that they are
out of debt and all their need are met.

I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem,
circumstance, or situation greater than God. Every battle
is in Your hands for You to fight.
I pray that these words be received into the hearts of
every eyes that sees them and every mouth that
confesses them willingly.

this is my prayer.
In God's Name, May God bless you.

Small talk

Almost everyday I hear people talking about the recent polling shocking result. And it is getting more and more interesting. Well to be honest I've guessed that this election will bring a very interesting news and it turns out to be true.

My opinion, it's not shocking at all and it is high time for us, the people, to voice out and exercise our right. (I am not going to say more on this) . The result is a wake up call for the Government to change and do something.

WAKE UP!!!!!

*end of my small talk*

Monday Inspiration

We complain about the cross we bear but don't realize it is preparing us for the dip in the road that God can see and we cannot

Whatever your cross,

whatever your pain,

there will always be sunshine, after the rain....

Perhaps you may stumble, perhaps even fall;

But God's always ready, to answer your call....

He knows every heartache, sees every tear,

a word from His lips, can calm every fear...

Your sorrows may linger throughout the night,

But suddenly vanish, by dawn's early light...

The Savior is waiting, somewhere above,

to give you His grace, and send you His love.

May God fill your day with blessings!!

Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle!

A man is driving down the road and breaks down near a monastery. He goes to the monastery, knocks on the door, and says, My car broke down. Do you think I could stay the night? The monks graciously accept him, feed him dinner, and even fix his car. As the man tries to fall asleep, he hears a strange sound; a sound like no other that he has ever heard.

The next morning, he asks the monks what the sound was, but they say, We can't tell you. You're not a monk. The man is disappointed but thanks them anyway and goes about his merry way. Some years later, the same man breaks down in front of the same monastery. The monks again accept him, feed him, and even fix his car. That night, he hears the same strange mesmerizing sound that he had heard years earlier.

The next morning, he asks what the sound was, but the monks reply,We can't tell you. You're not a monk. The man says, All right, all right. I'm dying to know.If the only way I can find out what that sound was, is to become a monk, how do I become a monk? The monks reply, you must travel the earth and tell us how many blades of grass there are and the exact number of sand pebbles. When you find these numbers, you will become a monk.

The man sets about his task. Some forty-five years later, he returns and knocks on the door of the monastery. He says, I have travelled the earth and devoted my life to the task demanded and have found what you had asked for. There are 371,145,236,284,232 blades of grass and 231,281,219,999,129,382 sand pebbles on the earth.

The monks reply, Congratulations, you are correct and now you are a monkWe shall now show you the way to the sound. The monks lead the man to a wooden door, where the head monk says, the sound is behind that door. The man reaches for the knob, but the door is locked.

He asks, May I have the key?The monks give him the key, and he opens the door.Behind the wooden door is another door made of stone. The man requests the key to the stone door. The monks give him the key, and he opens it, only to find a door made of ruby. He demands another key from the monks, who provide it. Behind that door is another door, this one made of sapphire. And so it went until the man had gone through doors of emerald,......silver, topaz, and amethyst.

Finally, the monks say, This is the key to the last doorThe man is relieved to no end. He unlocks the door, turns the knob, and behind that door he is astonished to find the source of that strange sound. It is truly an amazing and unbelievable sight.

Scroll down...

. .. . But I can't tell you what it is because YOU are not a monk.

It's Saturday and I was suppose to work hard to finish up my audit documentation for audit purposes. Really i came to do my work but alas, the Oracle is not functioning at all!!!!

Well it actually collapse yesterday and the IT people told us that it will be out for at least two days and we can only do our work by Monday. So I decide today I'll just do all the manual work which does not require the system at all. But I can't!! Still can't do it with out the system!!!!! arghhhh....I have to flip through all the heavy files to get the exact figure and I don't want to do that..(because I am not desperate enough I suppose). So what did I do from morning till now? It's 12 noon and the only thing that I have done is updating my blog and blog hopping. *big laugh*. NO OFFICE WORK!!!! (die la if my office friends read this).

Oh ya yesterday I purchase this "spreader of essence with rattan sticks" and it does smell good. Actually I purchase it because I can't stand someones BO. *laugh..laugh..*

Ok..ok... need to do hopping... *evil laugh*

What Type of Coffee are you?

Saw this is Deana and Ratu Syura and as always, I fall into the "plain" category. *long sigh* oh well that's me I guess.

You Are a Plain Ole Cup of Joe

But don't think plain - instead think, uncomplicated
You're a low maintenance kind of girl... who can hang with the guys
Down to earth, easy going, and fun! Yup, that's you: the friend everyone invites.
And your dependable too. Both for a laugh and a sympathetic ear.

What Kind of Coffee Girl Are You?
See... get what I mean?

America's Next Top Model

I always love to look at good, nice and fantastic picture and I always wanna take one be it as the model or the photographer. I love to see beautiful people be mesmerize with the beautiful picture they took. That's why I love watching America's Next Top Model.

Now it is the cycle 9 being aired here in astro but it is already cycle 10 in America. I have been watching this program (inadvance) from youtube and I'm loving it. Who do I like in ANTM cycle 9? Of course Heather. Besides her disability, I love her look. She just look sooooo beautiful and natural. She have the natural beauty.

I've watch up to episode 7 but am not going to reveal who's eliminated for each episode that I've watch (Not to spoil the excitment that is), and I really love how they took beautiful picture and how they transform them to look sooo beautiful in person and in picture.

As for me I always hate taking picture of me *sigh* becuase I don't look nice in any of the picture. God I wish I have the photogenic look. And I am sooo extra shy to pose!!! *sigh again* well I think as for now I think I should settle and accept that it is me. *laugh*
