Lets spread the unity

Here In My Home is the title of the song, sang by the Malaysian Artiste for Unity. A very touching and meaningful song. The first time I heard this song over the radio, I wonder which group sand it and meant looking for the lyrics and video clips without knowing that it is actually a song by a group pf singer, actor, producers, etc. A meaningful song. A song of hope and racial unity.

"Written by project producer Pete Teo, the song and its music video showcase local artistes and celebrities ranging from arts activists, sportsmen to corporate figures.
Teo said the song was about hope and racial unity.

“The song has shadows in its lyrics – it is not a one-dimensional patriotic song. All who participated in the song and its music video did it because they believe in its message of hope and unity,” he said, adding that the project involved some 120 people.

Among those involved in the project included Afdlin Shauki, Awie, Ning Baizura, Jaclyn Victor, Reshmonu, Atilia, KLG Sqwad, Altimet, Suki, Daniel Lee, Datuk Tony Fernandes, Maya Karin, Singletrackmind, Stephen Chua, Shebby Singh, Sharifah Amani, Amber Chia and Ida Nerina.
Although predominantly an English composition, the song has a multi-lingual section sung in Malay, Mandarin and Tamil.

A Malay version of the song is in the works by Afdlin Shauki and other language versions of the song are expected to be unveiled in associated projects before long.

To a question, Teo said he travelled a lot overseas and thought it would be a nice idea to record a song with many personalities in it.

On the choice of participants, Teo said it represented the rakyat.
Teo said the fact that the project was completed in a month with zero budget said a lot about the people behind it.

“Nobody was paid. It was free. It took merely five weeks for the team to complete the production phase of the project from scratch.” --> This is what beautiful about this song

Music artiste and producer Jason Lo said he got involved in the song because it had to do with unity."

HERE IN MY HOME (by : MAFU)

HERE IN MY HOME
Verse 1
Hold on brother hold on
The road is long. We’re on stony ground
But I’m strong. You ain’t heavy

Verse 2
Oh there’s a misspoken truth that lies
Colors don’t bind, oh no.
What do they know? They speak falsely.

Chorus
Here in my home
I’ll tell you what its all about
There’s just one hope here in my heart
One love undivided
That’s what it’s all about
Please won’t you fall in one by one by one with me?

Verse 3
Push back sister won’t you push back?
Love won’t wait. Just keep pushing on.
Yes I’m strong. You ain’t heavy.

Verse 4
Oh don’t you worry about that…
What we have shadows can’t deny
Don’t you know it’s now or never?
