Airplanes

Yes..... can we just pretend that airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars?... I would like to wish for all my wishes to come true. Can I? can I?Airplanes

[Chorus Hayley Williams]
Can we pretend that airplanes
In the night sky
Are like shooting stars
I could really use a wish right now (wish right now) (wish right now)
Can we pretend that airplanes
In the night sky
Are like shooting stars
I could really use a wish right now (wish right now) (wish right now)

[Verse 1 B.o.B]
Yeah
I could use a dream or a genie or a wish
To go back to a place much simpler than this
Cause after all the partyin and smashin and crashin
And all the glitz and the glam and the fashion
And all the pandemonium and all the madness
There comes a time where you fade to the blackness
And when youre staring at that phone in your lap
And you hoping but them people never call you back
But thats just how the story unfolds
You get another hand soon after you fold
And when your plans unravel
And they sayin what would you wish for
If you had one chance
So airplane airplane sorry Im late
Im on my way so dont close that gate
If I dont make that then Ill switch my flight
And Ill be right back at it by the end of the night

[Chorus Hayley Williams]

[Verse 2 B.o.B]
Somebody take me back to the days
Before this was a job, before I got paid
Before it ever mattered what I had in my bank
Yeah back when I was tryin to get into the subway
And back when I was rappin for the hell of it
But now a days we rappin to stay relevant
Im guessin that if we can make some wishes outta airplanes
Then maybe yo maybe Ill go back to the days
Before the politics that we call the rap game
And back when aint nobody listened to my mix tape
And back before I tried to cover up my slang
But this is for the Cada, whats up Bobby Ray
So can I get a wish to end the politics
And get back to the music that started this shit
So here I stand and then again I say
Im hopin we can make some wishes outta airplanes?

Mini Edition

*notes : this post supposed to be posted yesterday but due to the overly slow line, I post this today. so please bear with me ya*

Hi peeps,

Its Monday and as usual Monday is "the" day that I dread the most. Pity the day. Its actually just the emotional side of me bah kan. Anyway, congrats to Spain for winning the 2010 WC. I am not a fan, hubby does and more or less I got the updates of who won and who lost and even who won the bet the biggest. shhh that one I can't tell you who. hahaha..

Okay back to the title, I am actually referring to Sophie Kinsella's new book. "Mini shopaholic". I don't actually know that She's coming up with a new book, but thanks to my fulltime housewife sister at the moment, excitedly she informed me about this. Yes I can't wait for September to come.

Dunno if I am willing to by the hardcover edition, for I know it will be very expensive. But I know someone will surely buy it first.. Kan Chegu....LOL

But while waiting for September to come, I have 3 more books to finish up so I think I am well occupied till September.

Till then

Tell Me Why...?

My Assistant was listening to this song , "tell me why I hate Monday" that gave me an idea on what to write here. As you guys realize, I have not updated any new post in this sleepy blog of mine hence the spider is making this blog as their home sweet home.

Ok for starter I just want to ask this simple questions

Tell me why... I Hate Monday
Tell me why... I am damn lazy on this day that I did almost nothing at work (pssstt do not inform the boss)
Tell me why... I have been in the "blank" zone that I SELDOM or almost NEVER update my blog.
Tell me why... I do not have extra $$ to spend
Tell me why... Just about every small thing make me worry
and the most important question ...Tell me why... I am not filthy rich.

Nah keluar sudah apa dalam utak sa tapi ini belum abis lagi ni. nanti sa saya continue hehehe. Time to go home. Baby mama coming home...

*hugs*

wakakakka

I don't know but I just need these laugh so I am sharing this to you guys..... Exercises bah muka.

A pirate at the local bar discusses his past

A seaman meets a pirate in a bar, and talk turns to their adventures on the sea. The seaman notes that the pirate has a peg-leg, a hook, and an eye patch.

The seaman asks, "So, how did you end up with the peg-leg?" The pirate replies, "We were in a storm at sea, and I was swept overboard into a school of sharks. Just as my men were pulling me out, a shark bit my leg off."

"Wow!" said the seaman. "What about your hook"? "Well", replied the pirate, "We were boarding an enemy ship and were battling the other sailors with swords. One of the enemy cut my hand off."

"Incredible!" remarked the seaman. "How did you get the eye patch"? "A seagull dropping fell into my eye," replied the pirate.

"You lost your eye to a seagull dropping?," the sailor asked incredulously. "Well," said the pirate, "it was my first day with my hook"

Simple operation

A man was seen fleeing down the hall of the hospital just before his operation.

"What's the matter?" he was asked.

He said, "I heard the nurse say, 'It's a very simple operation, don't worry, I'm sure it will be all right."

"She was just trying to comfort you, what's so frightening about that?"

"She wasn't talking to me. She was talking to the doctor.

Bottle trouble

A woman was trying hard to get the catsup to come out of the jar. During her struggle the phone rang so she asked her four-year old daughter to answer the phone.

"It's the minister, Mommy," the child said to her mother.

Then she added, "Mommy can't come to the phone to talk to you right now. She's hitting the bottle."

Funny taste

Two cannibals are eating a clown. One says to the other "Does this taste funny to you?"

In record time

Joe walks into the living room and sees Lucy whooping and hollering.

"What's the matter?" Joe asked.

"Nothing at all. I just finished a jigsaw puzzle in record time!" Lucy beamed.

"How long did it take you?"

"Well, the box said '3 to 5 Years' but I did it in a month!"

Chain saw

A West Virginian walks into a hardware store and asks for a chain saw that will cut 6 trees in one hour.

The salesman recommends the top of the line model. The West Virginian is suitably impressed, and buys it.

The next day he brings it back, complaining that it would only cut down 1 tree and it took ALL DAY!

The salesman takes the chain saw, starts it up to see what's wrong, and the West Virginian says, "What's that noise?"

Dinner disaster

A couple trying to break into society hosted a dinner party.

As the guests were enjoying their dinner salad, the maid called the hostess from the table. The maid informed her that the cat had climbed on the kitchen table and eaten a large portion of the salmon's mid- section.

The hostess decided to fill the eaten portion with some canned salmon and other camouflage.

As the guests were enjoying the fish, the maid called the hostess into the kitchen and announced while wringing her hands, "Madam, the cat is dead."

The hostess and her husband informed the guests and suggested it might be best if everyone went to the hospital and had their stomachs pumped.

Returning home, the couple asked the maid where she had put the cat. "It is still out on the road where the car ran over it."

The Red Marbles

I don't know if you guys ever read this story. It had been lying around in my inbox for few months and only now I decided to open and read it and boy did I fell in love with this story. It really did tell me something of life. Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I do.

Forwarded from a friend >>

The Red Marbles

I was at the corner grocery store buying some early potatoes. I noticed a small boy, delicate of bone and feature, ragged but clean, hungrily apprising a basket of freshly picked green peas.

I paid for my potatoes, but was also drawn to the display of fresh green peas. I am a pushover for creamed peas and new potatoes.

Pondering the peas, I couldn't help overhearing the conversation between Mr. Miller (the store owner) and the ragged boy next to me...

'Hello, Barry, how are you today?'

'Hello, Mr. Miller.. Fine, thank you. Just admiring them peas. They sure look good.'

'They are good, Barry. How's your Ma?'

'Fine. Getting stronger all the time.'

'Good. Anything I can help you with?'

'No, Sir. Just admiring the peas..'

'Would you like to take some home?' asked Mr. Miller.

'No, sir. Got nothing to pay for 'em with.'
Well, what have you to trade me for some of those peas?'

'All I have is my prize marble here.'

'Is that right? Let me see it,' said Miller.

'Here 'tis.. She's a dandy.'

'I can see that. Hmm mmm, only thing is this one is blue and I sort of go for red. Do you have a red one like this at home?' the store owner asked.

'Not 'zackley, but almost.'

'Tell you what.. Take this sack of peas home with you and next trip this way let me look at that red marble,' Mr. Miller told the boy.

'Sure will. Thanks, Mr. Miller.'

Mrs. Miller, who had been standing nearby, came over to help me.

With a smile, she said, 'There are two other boys like him in our community, all three are in very poor circumstances. Jim just loves to bargain with them for peas, apples, tomatoes or whatever. When they come back with their red marbles, and they always do, he decides he doesn't like red after all and he sends them home with a bag of produce for a green marble or an orange one, when they come on their next trip to the store.'

I left the store smiling to myself, impressed with this man. A short time later I moved to Colorado , but I never forgot the story of this man, the boys and their bartering for marbles.

Several years went by, each more rapid than the previous one. Just recently I had occasion to visit some old friends in that Idaho community, and while I was there learned that Mr. Miller had died. They were having his visitation that evening, and knowing my friends wanted to go, I agreed to accompany them. Upon arrival at the mortuary, we fell into line to meet the relatives of the deceased and to offer whatever words of comfort we could..

Ahead of us in line were three young men. One was in an army uniform and the other two wore nice haircuts, dark suits and white shirts. All were very professional looking. They approached Mrs. Miller, standing composed and smiling by her husband's casket. Each of the young men hugged her, kissed her on the cheek, spoke briefly with her and moved
on to the casket.

Her misty light blue eyes followed them as, one by one, each young man stopped briefly and placed his own warm hand over the cold pale hand in the casket. Each left the mortuary awkwardly, wiping his eyes.

Our turn came to meet Mrs. Miller. I told her who I was and reminded her of the story from those many years ago and what she had told me about her husband's bartering for marbles. With her eyes glistening, she took my hand and led me to the casket.

'Those three young men who just left were the boys I told you about. They just told me how they appreciated the things Jim 'traded' them.
Now, at last, when Jim could not change his mind about color or size, they came to pay their debt. We've never had a great deal of the wealth of this world,' she confided, 'but right now Jim would consider himself the richest man in Idaho.'

With loving gentleness, she lifted the lifeless fingers of her
deceased husband. Resting underneath were three exquisitely shined red marbles.

Morale of the story: We will not be remembered by our words, but by our kind deeds. Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

Today I wish you a day of ordinary miracles ~
A fresh pot of coffee you didn't make yourself;
An unexpected phone call from an old friend;
Green stoplights on your way to work; The fastest line at the grocery store;
A good sing-along song on the radio; Your keys found right
where you left them.

IT'S NOT WHAT YOU'VE GATHERED, BUT WHAT YOU'VE SCATTERED THAT TELLS WHAT KIND OF LIFE YOU HAVE LIVED..

Cheers!

What's In My Mind....

......Right now? I am thinking of opening my own business.

Ever since Little Faith born, I have been thinking of spending more time with her. Well knowing that working mum will only have time to spend with their baby (s) at night or on weekend, having a good time together with your family is very limited. Of course this thought came into my mind because I enjoyed every second taking care of her. I have been thinking of setting up my own business long ago but until now I have not materialize it. One thing because I am not a risk taker. I am not willing to take risk especially with the current economic situation.

Second, I am not creative enough to start a small busniess which only needs your creativity. I know some of you have the talent of baking, sewing, makeup, photography, etc.

Third, the thing I love doing most is event organizing and this business needs a lot of kac-hing to start off with. Where on earth can I look for that bundle of $$? If only it is as easy as playing Petville on facebook.

Well this is not just a dream, I will (God willing) make this a reality. The only question is WHEN?
